Call for recipes

What WONDERFUL food at this month's meeting (and very nice to meet you all, too!)!

I heard multiple exclamations of "I'd love to have this recipe" throughout the evening (to name a few: Swedish meatballs, pumpkin-fruit tart, Ina's extreme brownies).

So, to all who brought a dish to pass - if you are so inclined to post your secret recipe on our Website, please forward it to me. Click Here.

I told Beth this morning, I feel like a kid at Christmas who was given SO many new toys... I'm experiencing overload! I never knew I'd enjoy blogging as much as I am today.

This is a test... Jill's first post

Hello everyone!
It's November 10, 2007, a chilly Saturday morning... a great time to do a bit of blogging. We have some catching up to do here and I'll do my best to be up-to-speed by our next meeting on November 28th. As they say in the construction industry "please excuse our dust" while we make improvements to our site.

Many thanks to Beth for getting me set up as a Blog contributor and allowing me to continue the great work she started! I look forward to this new responsibility.

February Meeting

Well I've been completely neglecting the blog of late. Rather than back track I've decided to just carry on from the most recent meeting. Because she had suggested the book, poor Anne was mortified by the rather, "edgy" shall we say, content of The Feast of Love. But fear not, we're all adults here - we had an excellent discussion about the book. While the story was enjoyed to varying degrees, we all did agree that the author's literary device using the narrator's interviews with his neighbors, was pretty cool. Thank you to Nancy for a lovely evening at your home.
